The technological base of our company is built on CATIA CAD and ENOVIA data management system services, which allow us to organize the collective work of geographically distributed groups of engineers and to multiply the number of project teams in the shortest possible time.

We have  developed more than 30 digital models of complex engineering objects. We have developed an extensive database of standard elements and parameterized patterns for shipbuilding, energy, industrial construction and engineering.

Convenience of working with a software product in most cases is achieved by properly setting up existing tools, that is, by adapting it to yourself. Also in CATIA, it is required to configure functions and parameters according to the specifics of a particular specialist.

But in some situations, even deep administration of the system does not allow to automate the workflow, as we would like. Repeating the same steps regularly takes valuable time and writing macros or templates that extend the standard features of the product is a reasonable way out.

Our company provides custom software development services according to customer requirements. Additional tools for CATIA are programmed using CAA, a full-featured multi-level API that allows you to write applications of all types.

The development of control programs is the most important stage in the machining of parts on CNC machines, because a well-written UE will maximize the use of equipment capabilities, as well as avoid possible complications when processing parts on the machine. 

In this process, it is important to consider even the smallest details, as the slightest inaccuracy can lead to kicks and collisions on a real product.

Our solutions based on Dassault Systems products allow us to develop and optimize control programs for 2 - 5 coordinate CNC machines for parts of any complexity, taking into account all the subtleties of production using modern machining methods.

The technology for processing a part is determined by the technologist taking into account the available set of machining strategies. So, for rough milling, strategies for layer-by-layer material sampling in parallel passes, in a spiral, etc .; during milling, contours or surfaces can be machined using various strategies. 

After the technologist indicates the elements to be processed, the choice of the cutting tool, the processing strategy and its parameters, the tool automatically calculates the toolpath in the CAM system. Further, by calling the corresponding postprocessor, the trajectory can be converted into a control unit for a particular CNC machine.

In addition to the listed “traditional” tasks, such tasks as optimization of the tool path, control of machining accuracy, collision control in the AIDS system (machine - tool - tool - part), etc. are also solved. The solution to these problems is based on the integrated use of 3D models of the workpiece, cutting and auxiliary tool, fixtures and CNC machine.

We provide services for the development of control programs for turning, milling and EDM.

A postprocessor is a program that converts the tool path and technological commands (for example, turning on the spindle, coolant, tool change, chip removal, etc.) that are generated in the CAM system into control codes of a particular CNC machine taking into account its kinematics .

Using a postprocessor designed for a specific machine and its control system eliminates the need to manually correct the finished NC program and, accordingly, speed up the manufacturing of the part and reduce the likelihood of any problems during processing.

But one must also take into account the fact that the combination “machine - CNC system” is programmed in accordance with the options selected by the client. This means that two identical combinations “machine - CNC system” can have completely different ways of programming the available commands and functions.

Thus, a post-processor debugged for one company is not always 100% suitable for another. Even if the postprocessors for specific combinations “machine - CNC system” are supplied with the CAM system, it is unlikely that such a postprocessor will generate an NC program in exact accordance with the requirements of the client and the machine.

A correctly configured postprocessor will allow you to use all the capabilities of your equipment. Also does the postprocessor perform a considerable number of functions.

For example: 

• Encoding linear displacements according to the price of a pulse
• Perform linear or circular interpolation of movements along an arc of a circle and also encodes them in pulses
• Calculates the dynamics of movements
• Tracking
• Reducing too large of a feed at a small displacement (the machine will not have time to accelerate)
• Automatically issues a vector or function to the radius of the tool in the frame
• Builds the current frame according to the template, automatically numbering frames under the address N
• Turns the feeds assigned by the technologist into a specific character set with address F Issues the frame to the desired location in the frame
